The Norway Spruce is favoured for its wonderful shape but above all its beautiful scent. First introduced to England in the mid-19th century by Prince Albert, the Norway Spruce is the traditional Victorian Christmas tree. The tree does shed its needles, however, so a hoover may be necessary over the festive period.
